Eco-Cycle is one of the largest non-profit recyclers in the United States and has a reputation for being an innovator in resource conservation. They have a passion for conserving our natural resources, which is why this team works diligently to push for change in Colorado. Eco-Cycle’s mission is to identify, explore and demonstrate the emerging frontiers of sustainable resource management through the concepts and practices of Zero Waste. Eco Cycle believes in individual and community action to transform society’s throw-away ethic into environmentally-responsible stewardship.

Tasks/Duties:

Eco-Cycle is seeking a graphic design intern for the Fall of 2011. This intern will assist in the design and editing process of shot videos dealing with issues of Zero Waste. Strong graphic design and video editing skills are required. Video editing equipment and software is preferred, but not necessary. Creativity and passion for environmental issues are a must!

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in environmental health, natural sciences, environmental studies, or related fields
  • Interested in public environmental education and behavior change
  • Passion for environmental issues
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Zero Waste
  • Professional and Mature demeanor
